The Centre for Curriculum Development and Examinations
The Centre for Curriculum Development and Examinations was
created in 1994. Initially ISEC was responsible for development of the
curriculum as well as control and diagnostics of the quality of education. The
functions of the ISEC increased during this period of time; there is introduced
system of the national examination and has been developed the system of
centralized examinations.
Since 2001 one of the duties of the ISEC is the creation of testing system of the state language. The Centre for Teacher Education Support was reorganized and became part of the ISEC on 1st January 2002.
